Statement on AI: We do not support any collaborations where AI has been used. Some author organizations permit the use of AI for preparing drafts and outlines. We do not support that here at Pondera Publishing. Our authors and illustrators may not use AI. We reserve the right to cancel collaborations for this reason.

NEWSFLASH: We are pleased to be working with several new authors.

“A Collection of Short Stories” is the theme for a book from a first time author of roughly 200 pages with a late 2026/early 2027 launch. Title TBD.

“Spiritual Thoughts on Life” is the theme of a new book in the works from another one of our authors. Title TBD.

A collection of illustrations and how they came to be is a third book that is in the works. Title TBD.

Past (quiet) collaborations have included a published cookbook by an international author as well as a mafia romance book by a U.S. author living abroad.

Your own website? Yes! At Pondera Publishing, we encourage the use of author/publisher platforms to maintain creative and selling control. Both are important for author and publisher. Popular mass market selling platforms can open doors but can be very expensive and disappointing. Books sold on some larger platforms take 15% plus additional fees for everything. But mostly, too often, your book on a large platform goes into the dark dungeon where your book isn’t seen or purchased.

We believe in the importance of “building your own real estate” which is why we encourage our authors to have their own presence and for our store to help them grow independently.

We also fulfill for our authors which allows for creative marketing inserts and the personal touch of stickers and thank you notes, for example. Our books are carefully packaged and not thrown into flimsy packaging and we know that buyers really appreciate those personal touches.
